Abelardo Morell - Six pieces from the Camera Obscura series (1991-2010)

These pictures were created with a camera obscura, a device that uses light to project an image of its surroundings onto a screen. It is speculated that the artist Johannes Vermeer used a similar technique to create paintings such as his famous Girl with a Pearl Earring. 

Check this guy out; his photographs are amazing, and the concept he uses is pretty cool. I mean, the technology he uses must be hundreds of years old, but it still creates a beautiful and interesting effect, doesn’t it?

I need this in my life o.o
